EICI LLC ("we," "us," or "the Company") operates TickerTrust ("the Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Platform.

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Subscription & Billing: Payment information processed by Stripe (our payment processor). We do not store your full credit card number.
• Profile Data: Watchlists, portfolio configurations, saved screener presets, and alert settings.
• User Content: Paper trades, trade journal entries, AI chat conversations, and analysis preferences.
• Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, search queries, and interaction patterns.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
• Cookies & Similar Technologies: Session cookies for authentication, preference cookies for settings (e.g., theme), and analytics cookies (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service: Deliver analysis results, run paper trading simulations, process AI chat requests, and manage your account.
• Process Payments: Manage subscriptions, process upgrades/downgrades, and handle billing through Stripe.
• Improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
• Send Notifications: Deliver price alerts, account updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications.

  • Supabase (database and authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • SendGrid (transactional emails)
  • Anthropic / OpenAI (AI model providers for TrustAI features)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States, provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Vercel. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth with bcrypt password hashing
• Regular security audits and dependency updates
• API rate limiting and abuse prevention

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use the following types of cookies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
• Preference Cookies: Store your settings (theme, layout preferences). Can be managed in your browser settings.
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Platform. We use privacy-respecting analytics. You can opt out in your account settings.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.

7. Data Retention

• Billing records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
• Backup copies are purged within 90 days

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

9. International Users

If you are accessing the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data under legitimate interest and contractual necessity bases. You have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also send an email notification to registered users.
