If you're new to TickerTrust, the first thing you'll notice is the TrustScore — a single number from 0 to 100 that represents the overall health and attractiveness of a stock. But what goes into that number?
The Five Pillars
TrustScore combines five fundamental dimensions of stock analysis into one composite rating. Each pillar captures a different aspect of what makes an investment compelling:
- Quality — How well-run is the company? Looks at balance sheet strength, management effectiveness, and financial stability.
- Valuation — Is the stock priced fairly? Compares current price to intrinsic value using multiple valuation frameworks.
- Growth — Is the company growing? Evaluates revenue, earnings, and cash flow growth trends.
- Profitability — How efficiently does it earn? Measures margins, returns on equity, and operating efficiency.
- Momentum — What's the market saying? Tracks price trends, relative strength, and institutional flow.
How to Read an TrustScore
Scores above 70 generally indicate stocks with strong fundamentals across multiple dimensions. Scores between 40-70 suggest mixed signals that warrant deeper analysis. Below 40 typically flags caution areas.
Remember: TrustScore is a starting point for research, not a buy/sell signal. It's designed to help you focus your attention on stocks that merit further investigation.
